FAQ

  • The event will be held in Town Center Plaza in front of the Wilson Hotel. The entrance will be by Blue Buddha restaurant.

  • Each day is $10 per person for entry for 16 years old and above. 15 and under is free admission. If you purchase all 3 days, the cost is discounted to $25

  • If you come to the event and want to stay overnight, you can book discounted rooms at the Wilson Hotel. Please let reservations know you are coming for Oktoberfest and request the local discounted rate.

  • Beer and other alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase by a token system. Each token equals one drink. Non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase at the food tent.

  • Food will be available for purchase at the food tent. We will have bratwursts, curry wurst, Bavarian pretzels and more.

  • Yes, we encourage families to come and enjoy the festivities, including games throughout the event and a two-mile fun run on Sunday morning at 10:00am. All ages are welcome. Free admission for kids under 16 years old.

  • Yes, dogs are welcome as long as they are leashed and well behaved.

  • Traditional German Oktoberfest favorites spinning by DJ Swampmoose

  • The event was started last year to benefit youth sports in Big Sky. This year’s recipient is the Big Sky Futbol Club.

  • We will have a game area accessible throughout the event, including cornhole and Hammerschlagen and a Stein Holding competition

  • The competition will held four times. Friday and Saturday at 6:00pm and 8:00pm. You must register in person at stein holding table in the tent. You may bring your own stein or we will supply them for the competition filled with water. Prizes for winners. See rules here.

  • The Lederhosen fun run is a two mile run/walk around Town Center. There are prizes for the first place male and female finishers, regardless of age. Must be dressed in festive attire to win prizes. All ages welcome. Cost includes daily admission fee and one drink token. Learn more and register here.
